Google+App+Greed = Stupid Browser From Google – Updated

by Chirag Chamoli

Google, has a saying: “launch early and iterate.” While this approach is usually limited to their engineers, it apparently applies to there  mailroom(Read PR) as well! [ As you may have read in the blogosphere, "we hit "send" a bit early on a comic book introducing our new open source browser, Google Chrome". As google believe in access to information(Read: Make more money of our ads) for everyone, we've now made the comic publicly available - you can find it here. "We will be launching the beta version of Google Chrome tomorrow in more than 100 countries".]

It looks like Google has at least semi-launched its Chrome site here. It provides this screenshot of the browser.

Updated: I say this is a fresh take on there advertisements supply chain.

I think google is on the verge of becoming microsoft :( , Instead of just working with Firefox and Innovating on the present browser they are creating a new one so that they can utilize the Adsense… ?? Kinda off pisses me off what google is becoming.

    In response:
That might be where it’s going. I hope not though.

Google is a large company. Large companies have a habit of thinking of themselves way too much. If they show too much interest in themselves I might avoid using it for that purpose alone.

I’m not going to use a browser just so I can get relevant ads or serve Google better. If Google is using this per se to promote themselves then the talk about innovation and improvement is useless.

I guess only time will tell…

    thanks for the comment:)

Yep. They would want to include the adsense-nonsense to every single webpage we browse through.
But adsense is making a lot of sense that those regular flashy ads and pop ups that disrupt a smooth browsing experience.
