Ten Corporate Changes, Must Happen, for Godsake!!!

  1. Word limit on Mail: If you need to write an email with more than “30 words”, Don’t. Call or Setup a Conference or Walk to your co-worker for a quick standing meeting.
  2. Elevator Test: Any Idea which can not be explained in the elevator from Ground Floor to Top , should be Re-Drafted/Redesigned.
  3. Jargon Free Life: Bosses must not make use of “nonsensical statement” aka Jargon. Eg. Don’t think about it as it’s a problem, look at it as a challenge !
  4. Official Cribbing Hour“  – Provide a official Platform for bitching and moaning , on topics like  Salary, Management, Culture, People and Celebs.
  5. Dilbert should be quoted freely while training managers.
  6. Manager should not employ guilt and conscience,  as a management tool, girlfriends do that very well.
  7. Mckinsey and Gartner should be banned; there is too much competition.
  8. There should be bit more transparency please, in corporate policies, work procedure and methodology
  9. HR is banned from using the phrase “I’ll get back to you“.
  10. Customer is Human, after all.
